When I was younger there was very little in life that couldn't be cured by a contemplative walk through the forest. In the deep woods I could relax and let nature envelope and calm me. During these walks I found ways to better deal with my problems. It is the same for me today.
When I need its breath
I inhale it in
From a fallen log
The world can spin
All my troubles away
When I long for peace
I find it here
On a carpet of moss
In the forest where
Calmness always finds me
When I must take cover
Yet still need space
It is here I walk
And here I place
My trust in its restoring power
